Dr. Scott Alderson graduated with honors from the University of Bridgeport
College of Chiropractic in June of 2000. After serving on 2 humanitarian
missions, one to Panama and one to Peru, he and his wife Kim relocated to the
seacoast region of New Hampshire to begin in private practice.
Dr. Scott
Alderson offers a blend of traditional chiropractic and newer innovations. His
adjusting skills draw on 3 main technique areas, Gonstead, Palmer Upper Cervical
and Diversified, but also encompass some of the lower force and non-force
concepts of Activator and SOT blocks. He has now begun
incorporating Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC), the most consistent and
predictable approach to chiropractic
He has cared for
thousands of people of all ages and all walks of life, newborn babies barely
hours old to people well into their 90’s. Adjusting his approach to benefit the
needs of each individual.
He has been a
featured health columnist for Foster's Daily Democrat and The
Portsmouth Herald.
In 2001, Dr. Scott wrote and
co-authored one of the most extensive research articles on the damage of nerve
compression published in the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research (Aug
2001). He served for 4 years on the Board of Directors for the NH State
Chiropractic Society and developed his unique style of care after training with
many of the masters in the profession. In 2006, he completed training in
non-surgical spinal decompression with the DRX9000. He has since
discontinued utilizing decompression in favor of ABC because it achieves more
consistent results at a fraction of the cost to the patient.
In 2006, Dr. Scott and Kim were
blessed with the birth of their daughter Isabelle.
